Q: Are the shows you make compatible with my website? A: Yes. Some photographers have one of our slideshows as the first item viewed on their website. Many place a link to the show within one of the pages of their website. We will assist you in getting your show working smoothly on your site.
Q: Do I get to choose which songs go on my DVD and/or webshare shows? A: Absolutely. Any music from our library. For no additional charge.
Q: Why can't I use a copyrighted song, say one that my client provides? A: The best advice we can give you is to visit ppa.com. Professional photography and commercial music simply don't mix (legally).
Q: Why do highlight shows contain so fewer images than an entire job? A: Our feedback from professional photographers who use our services suggest that shorter shows are more enjoyable and therefore command greater $'s from customers. Family portrait highlight shows are typically less than 50 images. Senior portrait highlight shows may have up to 200 images, although many appear on the screen for a fraction of a second. Event highlight shows are generally under 100 of the best images. However, we put up to 1200 images in the review show (simple dissolves or non-custom motion) for just $5.00 more.
Q: Are the webshare shows Mac compatible? A: We offer a Flash version of the webshare show. Just ask. However, most clients are PC people (about 95%). The PC version can be viewed at full screen, the Flash or Windows Media versions stream at about a half screen.
Q: How do I get my images to the Slideshow Company? A: Most jobs are easiest to send by ftp (but see our mailing address below). Give us a ring and we will walk you through an upload.

Q: What are ideal image sizes? A: Ideally images should be between 1Mb and 5Mb. Minimum size is roughly 1024 on the longest side at 72 dpi.
